Care That Slows Down Enough to Listen
Welcome to Stillpoint Psychiatry, I’m Dr. Joanna Grattton.
If you’re here, you may be looking for psychiatric care that feels more thoughtful, more personal, and less rushed.
My practice was created for people who value depth, presence, and care that treats them as a whole person, not a checklist. My goal is to ensure you feel genuinely seen and heard while we work together toward sustainable, whole-person healing - so you can find your stillpoint: a calm, grounded place where clarity and healing begin.
What Makes Stillpoint Psychiatry Different?
Dr. Joanna Gratton - a board‑certified psychiatrist with more than 20 years experience.
Integrative Approach - We are not simply the sum of symptoms or diagnoses. We are complex, interconnected beings—body, mind, and spirit—and true healing happens when all of these parts are honored and addressed
Unhurried appointments that allow time to talk and think
A collaborative approach where your time, values and goals matter
Thoughtful, individualized care rather than one‑size‑fits‑all plans
A calm, respectful environment—in person or via secure telehealth
This is care designed to slow things down, not speed them up

Important Notes
Stillpoint Psychiatry operates as a private pay based practice. I am out-of-network for all insurance providers, including Medicare and Medicaid. Choosing not to contract with insurance companies allows me to offer the kind of care I believe in—personalized, unhurried, and holistic. Insurance plans often impose restrictions on the types of treatments covered, the frequency of sessions, and the duration of care. By operating independently, I can tailor your treatment plan based solely on your needs, without external limitations.
If you have out-of-network benefits, I can provide you with a detailed receipt (superbill) that you can submit to your insurance company for potential reimbursement.
While I may be out of network, in most cases any medications prescribed or labs ordered by me should be covered to the same extent as those prescribed by your PCP.
My fees range from $195-$595. For full details please read the information on the “working together” sections of my Services page
This practice does not provide emergency or crisis services.
If you are experiencing a psychiatric emergency, please call 911 or contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline
Start With a Brief Consultation
Choosing a psychiatrist is an important decision. A brief consultation offers a low‑pressure way to:
Ask questions about the approach and philosophy of care
Share what you’re looking for and see if it feels like a good fit
Understand next steps before committing to ongoing care
This is a conversation—not a clinical visit—and there is no obligation to move forward.
